Our commitment to quality, safety, and reliability at Team UIS starts with the people we hire and train. That is why we place a strong emphasis on employing and developing NETA certified technicians to support client projects throughout the Midwest.

The InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) is considered one of the industry’s leading organizations for electrical testing and maintenance standards. NETA certified technicians must complete extensive safety and electrical training, meet years-of-experience requirements, and pass rigorous examinations that evaluate their technical knowledge and field capabilities.

Higher certification levels for NETA require additional experience, advanced training, and proven leadership abilities.

NETA technicians are uniquely qualified to excel in the industry. They are trained to perform electrical testing, evaluate equipment condition, interpret test data, identify potential failures, and help clients improve system reliability and safety. Certification is maintained through continuing education and ongoing technical development requirements, ensuring technicians remain current with evolving industry standards and technologies.

As a leader in NETA services across Michigan, Ohio, and the greater Midwest, Team UIS continues to invest heavily in technician training, advanced testing equipment, and professional development. Many of our technicians are certified at NETA Level III or higher, while also having significant, onsite electrical experience.

Supporting our team members pursuing NETA technicians is a purposeful investment that leads to safer facilities, more reliable electrical systems, improved preventative maintenance programs, and client confidence. Newly hired team members have the opportunity and encouragement to pursue higher levels of NETA training.

In this fast-moving industry, adaptability and versatility matter. Having certified NETA technicians on staff is one of many ways we work with team members to help advance their career opportunities while also supporting evolving client demand. Learn more about NETA by visiting netaworld.org.
