Our Services
UIS offers a wide range of services to ensure your municipality’s electrical systems run at peak performance:
Startup & Commissioning: Electrical commissioning is a critical step in launching your electrical system. We ensure that your electrical system functions safely and efficiently upon startup.
Acceptance and Maintenance Testing: Acceptance Testing- we ensure your newly installed equipment is operational and within applicable standards and manufacturer’s tolerances prior to energizing the the new equipment. Maintenance Testing- electrical systems degrade over time from corrosion, heat, moisture, insects, animals, airborne dirt, and other foreign contaminants. If maintenance is not performed, electrical failure is a matter of when not if it will happen. This will then likely cause unexpected downtime and raise the risk of an electrical injury or fatality.
Electrical Preventive Maintenance Plan: If you don’t yet have one, you should. This makes the power system safer, more reliable, and, in many cases, reduces costs. Routine maintenance is essential in detecting and addressing potential issues before they escalate, saving time and money.
Emergency Response: Our team is ready to respond swiftly to any electrical emergencies, minimizing downtime and ensuring community safety. Learn more about our AlwaysOn response team.
Electrical One-Line & Studies: If you do not have an Electrical One-Line or electrical renovations have occurred since it was created, then an electrical audit should occur, and the electrical one-line be created/updated.
